Wikipedia has 2,410,033 articles covering almost every subject imaginable. However, not everything is suitable for this encyclopedia. The Wikipedia community has established a series of guidelines of what is and what is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Do not submit articles that are about:
- you, someone you know, or your company.
- a local band, unless it has significant recognition.
- a word in the dictionary (these can be submitted to Wiktionary) unless you can write an encyclopedic article about the word.
- personal vendettas or campaigns.
They will likely be rejected.
