When I started this article it wasn't meant to be a dictionary definition. A dictionary definition would simply be
Articulated vehicle : vehicle with joints, and a reference to its Latin derivation.
The layman may be unaware that there is a great deal of trailer technology and that an article like this (when finished) would be very informative. It's not good for someone who knows nothing about the subject to alter the wording, throw in a picture of a lorry and then say it should be moved to Wiktionary. On the othet hand, if anyone knowledgeable enough wishes to contribute to the article, be my guest! Apgeraint 06:08, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

with respect, the onus is on you to add more content to this article if you feel it has the potential to become more than a dictionary definition. You describe a dictionary definition as Articulated vehicle : vehicle with joints, and a reference to its Latin derivation, yet fail to realise that this article, in its present form, is little more than that. I did not "throw in a picture of a lorry", I added an image of an articulated lorry, which I felt illustrated the article nicely. I also changed your wording to make the article read more like an encyclopedia article, formatted per the Manual of Style (with the article title included in the text in bold, etc). The wording of the introduction to this article was carefully chosen, clear and logical so that we know from the start what this article is about. I needed to write a stub first then go on to write another article with a view to coming back and finishing it off. I've added some but there's a lot more to come. There appears to be a lot of useful information that was deleted. Any reason why? --Peter Horn 02:30, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

This information is now under semi-trailer. When I started this article, this and related articles were under the wrong headings. Now they've been swapped around so it's O.K.. Apgeraint 19:43, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Advertisement?

The link to www.articulatedtruckparts.com in the Heavy Equipment Section of the page is no more than an advertisement for the company - as they sell heavy equipment parts. I'm removing it as spam.
