[edit] Mrzaius changes to American diplomatic missions

user:Mrzaius has renamed, and made substantial changes, to the article American diplomatic missions. The format he has made is different to the other 171 Diplomatic Missions by country articles. IMHO the changes he has made do not seem justified, and certainly it would not be reasonable if all the other 171 articles were amended to fit what this guy (who has made no contributions before in this area) wants. I am proposing that we revert to the last edit by Krokodyl on 19:33, 22 July 2007. Grateful if you could go to Talk:List_of_United_States_diplomatic_missions#Cleanup and confirm acceptance of my proposed revert. Kransky 15:02, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Norwegian consulate in San Fransisco

Hi Aquintero, the photo you have inserted would appear to fall in the same category as the Australian Embassy in Warsaw - it is a picture of a building in which the Norwegian consulate only comprises a small portion of. Hi Aquintero,

The Mexican Embassy in Warsaw is located in two buildings. The main building of the Embassy with Ambassador's Residence and Main Chancery is located in Warsaw district called Park Szczęśliwicki (There also are Embassy of Albania, Albanian Ambassador's Residence, Embassy of Laos with Ambassador's Residence and Angolan Ambassador's Residence). The Consular Division of the Mexican Embassy with others embassy divisions is located in old diplomatic enclave in Warsaw district called Stary Mokotów (Rejtana corner Starościńska street). This is a complex of three fourteenstorey office buildings from the late 1970s and one fourteenstorey apartment building. I don't have a pics now but if I take a picture both of this buildings I will send you. Presently, You can see photos of others embassies located in Warsaw in Wikipedia category "Embassies in Warsaw" --> http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Embassies_in_Warsaw

p.s. If you are from Ciudad de Mexico D.F. you can take a pictures of Embassy of Poland located on c/Cracovia 40, Col. San Ángel, and Polish Ambassador's Residence located on Paseo de la Reforma 650, Col. Lomas de Chapultepec :)

Several of the embassies you have listed as being open in Iraq are closed because of the current instability. I have taken the liberty of checking what you have listed against the diplomatic lists of the various foreign ministries and have deleted several of them from the list you wrote. Our crazy Turkish friend now has a name (User:Izmir lee) and has started to rewrite the articles. I have asked him to discuss this first at Category_talk:Diplomatic_missions_by_country, but he has commenced nonetheless. Please provide your opinion on the discussion page. I decided to look at the image in more detail and was disappointed to see that there was no key to explain what the difference between the blue and turqoise countries is. Hello,

You just changed the time limit from 180 days to 90 days. Is there any particular reason you changed this? Timatic indicates that the maximum stay is 180 days, as it is for most other tourists that don't require a visa. Passportguy (talk) 20:28, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

I did a quick check around the internet, and other nationalities also offcially (according to some pages) may only stay 90 days. E.g. Mexican embassy in France. However a quick glance at other pages releveals that the regulations are somewhat unclear, with some pages indicating a maximum stay of 180 days, e.g. [1]. Apparently the migration cards are can be either valid for 90 or 180 days, depending on what the individual immigration officer decides (based on return flights etc.) I would say that this is very likely true for all non-visa nationals, Israelis included. See also [2]. So unless there has been a recent change of the law, I'd say that the maxmimum that can be given on arrival is still 180 days for all, albeit that this may not always be given to everyone that, for example, has an earlier return flight.
