What up partna! My real name is Anthony Galante. I was born in Oak Park, Illinois and I was raised in Berwyn and Stickney, Illinois. Right now I live in Lockport and it sucks ass. I went to Morton West High School my freshman year, and my sophomore, junior, and senior year I'm going to Lockport Township High School. When I was 8 years old I went to a new school and people there called me Anthony. One kid didn't say my name right one time and called me Antwon on accident. Ever since then my real close friends from Berwyn and Stickney have called me Antwon.
[edit] Snowball Incident
On December 23, 2005 me, Zach, and John were arrested for the first time. There is a parking garage on Winsor and Euclid that we used to go on top and hang out. When the winter came around it was covered in snow and the perfect place to throw snowballs. One day we decided to go up to hit cars with snowballs. One of us hit a car in the wind shield and shattered it and thats how it started. It was the worst day to get arrested since because it was Zach's dad's birthday, the guy we hit, it was his birthday, the first day of winter break, and the day before Christmas Eve. We first hit the car, saw him pull over and assumed he was calling the cops. We ran down to the first floor to see what he was doing, but we just ran back up and started hitting more cars, at this point Zach got separated from us. When me and John got back to the top we saw a cop talking to the guy we hit. Me and John decided to leave. We went back down to the first level and we weren't able to get out without being seen so we went up to the 3rd level and jumped out the back of the garage. It was a wierd feeling because the jump was about 30 - 40 feet and it felt like I was falling for a long time. We walked a block away and we were in the clear until the cop came flying down the block and slammed on his brakes next to us. He got out and cuffed me first and threw me in the back of the car. He did the same to John, while Zach is in the garage he was in the stair well tieing his shoe and a cop walked in and took him to the roof. He told her that he was up there alone until they looked down and saw me and John getting arrested and thats how he was arrested.

Berwyn is where I lived ever since I was born. I lived on 19th & Gunderson Ave. When I was five me, Ashley, my sister, and my parents moved to Stickney which is right next to Berwyn. We lived there until I was eight years old when my parents got divorced. Me, Ashley, and my mom moved back to Berwyn on 34th & Clarence where I called home for the longest time. Berwyn's been the home town of my dad's side of the family since my Great-Grandpa Gerald Galante. Between Ogden Ave. and Persing Rd. is south Berwyn which isn't much but blocks and blocks of houses and apartments. Between Ogden and Cermak was where everything was, and where I lived on 34th St. North Berwyn is nothing but blocks and blocks of bungalo type houses, which is everything north of Cermak. You wouldn't walk into North Berwyn if you weren't with a group of people or wearing one solid color. Eventually the whole town became bad but it never affected me or my friends in anyway. It also didn't stop me from hanging out with the people who did change who I've known for a long time. Nonno's Pizzaria, Cigarettes Ect., La Notte, Rout 66, and Walgreens were places we would go to get away from home or grab something cheap to eat.

The last couple years I got really interested in my heritage. I've talked to my family and I use Ancestry.com to find more about my family. I found out I am a 5th generation Italian and 6th generation Irish. On my Irish side my Great-Great-Great-Granfather, John J. Benson, was born in Ireland. John Benson's wife was also Irish, but was born in Canada which makes me 1/36 Irish-Canadian. On my Italian side my Great-Great-Grandfather, Charles Gaetano Galante, was born in Italy. No one really considers me Irish. Everyone looks at me like and Italian, but my Irish family looks at me like a "dago".
