Anthony Fasano (born April 20, 1984 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey) is an American football tight end for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Notre Dame.

Fasano attended Verona High School (Verona, New Jersey) and won four varsity letters in football and basketball and two each in, baseball (in which he threw a no hitter in hit first outing as a freshmen pitcher) and track (in which he won the state championship for javelin his first year participating in the sport) . He also lead VHS to win the NJSIAA North II Group I State championships in Cedar Grove, New Jersey over their arch rivals the Cedar Grove High School Panthers.[1]

During his time at Notre Dame, Fasano caught 92 balls for 1,112 yards and 8 touchdowns.

[edit] Dallas Cowboys
Fasano was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played two seasons with the Cowboys starting 11 of 32 games, making 28 receptions for 269 yards and a touchdown.

On April 25, 2008, Fasano was traded along with linebacker Akin Ayodele to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a fourth-round pick (100th Overall) in the 2008 NFL Draft.
