Andreas Brandstätter

Andreas Brandstätter was a German entrepreneur who founded, in 1876, the company that later became Brandstätter Group, which manufactures Playmobil. He founded his company in Fürth, Bavaria and produced ornamental fittings and locks. Under Horst Brandstätter during the 1970s, the company began manufacturing the Playmobil toy, which had been invented by Hans Beck.
