André Linman is a founding member, lead singer and guitarist of the Finnish band Sturm und Drang. He started learning guitar in 2004, the same year they formed the band. His father is Patrick Linman, whom you may recognize from the Finnish ESC. André usually writes the music for the songs with his father, and the lyrics by himself.

Linman keep stating that his lead influences in guitar playing comes from Children of Bodoms guitarist and vocalist Alexi Laiho. He also admires bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio and other heavy metal artists.
