Andoque
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Andoque (alternate name Andoke) are an indigenous people of Colombia. They live along the Aduche tributary of the Japurá River.
[edit] Language and culture
Their language is an isolate and is extinct in Peru.[1] The culture values "sacred plants" and a ritual called "Yuruparí." The "Yuruparí" ritual concerns their transcendent vision of cosmology.[2]
