Alpochori or Alpohori, also Alepochori or Alepohori (Greek: Αλποχώρι), older forms: -o and -on also with the e and the second i accented is a Greek village built over two mountains in the southern Achaea prefecture. Alpochori is located about 35 km south of Patras, west of Kalavryta, northwest of Tripoli, north of Lampeia and northeast of Pyrgos. The GR-33 (Patras - Tripoli) is to the west. Alpochori had a 2001 population of was 188 for the village and 424 for the municipal district.

Its geography are mare up of farmlands that dominate the valley areas and are mainly consists of groves, the mountains covers area. It offers a view of Erymanthos, the valley and Mount Skollis.

Alpochori is famous for having its beach, it also has several restaurants, taverns and hotels.

The village was ruled by the Ottoman Turks with some interruption by the Venetians in the mid to late-15th century and from the late-17th century until the early-18th century, during that rule, it was written in the censuses of 1697 and 1699 as Alpochori Trano (Αλποχώρι Τρανό) and had 111 people, in 1700, it had 38 families. Alpochori was finally Greek after the Greek War of Independence of 1821, right after the signing of the declaration of independence. During the revolution, it had the historic family of Tsalamida (Τσαλαμιδά) and brought 21 people with the last name Andrikopoulos.

Alpochori first became a part of the municipality of Erymanthia in 1836 and remained until 1841, it became a part of the then municipality of Tritaia until 1912, it was a community between 1912 and 1998 under the Capodistrian Plan, it returned into the municipality of Tritaia since that time. The origin of the name came from the mythical giant Alpos.

After World War II and the Greek Civil War, much of the population left for larger towns and cities especially the nearby Patras. The population declined until 1991, but it slowly recovered by 20% between 1991 and 2001.

Houses were stone-built until the 1950s and did not surpass modern-style homes until the 1980s. It was linked with pavement in the 1980s. Most of the homes are abandoned today.

Alpochori has approximately 6 to 8 km of paved road and 15 km of gravel roads. Kounina also has approximately 6 to 8 km of hydro lines as well as phone lines.

Its main production are olives alond with fruits including watermelon, melon, figs and vegetables including corn, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, cucumbers and others as well as dairy, livestock and others in small numbers, much of the farlmands are mainly groves and vines. The majority of the population are based in agriculture as well as some other businesses.

Alpochori has a school first opened in 1951, a church, and a square (plateia). Its nearest lyceum (middle school), a nearest school gymnasium (secondary school) and hospital are in Stavrodromi.
