[edit] History
The name All Boys reflected the youthfulness of the founders, and followed the Argentine tradition of naming football clubs in English, other examples include, Newell's Old Boys, Boca Juniors, River Plate and Racing Club.
All Boys only spell in the top flight of Argentinian football during the professional era came between 1973 and 1980.
[edit] Classics Rivals
All Boys´s classic rival historically has been Nueva Chicago. This rivalry is considered by many to be one of the most attractive outside of the First Division rivalries. It was born when these two teams played their first professional championship in 1937. This first match ended in a 4-4 draw. The second game had to wait until 1941, because the Torito (Nueva Chicago's nickname) had fallen to Primera C division in 1937 and returned only after 3 years. "Albo" won that match 3-1 in Nueva Chicago's home, Mataderos. From that time forward All Boys maintains the advantage in wins over Nueva Chicago, an advantage they have never lost. This rivalry has seen more than 90 official editions.
Another All Boys rival is Argentinos Juniors, but this is due to the proximity of the respective neighborhoods since most of the time they have played in different categories. These two institutions clashed officially on more than 60 occasions.
[edit] Stadium
Leopoldo Rigoli gave the property between the streets Avenue Gaona, Segurola, Morón and Sanabria. It built a roofed podium and five rooms for the players. Then in 1924 he settled in the avenue where Segurola No 1351 opened its new stadium to play a friendly match against Temperley which was equal 0 to 0.
In 1937, when professionalism started in the ascent, All Boys had their new stadium in the apple falling through the streets, Segurola, Indio (current Elpidio Gonzalez), Sanabria and Miranda, where Albo made locally until 1959.
On November 10, 1959, was enacted Law 14.934, for which the State National donated the land to All Boys, located on Av. Jonte, between the streets Chivilcoy and Mercedes.
In 1963 the Islas Malvinas Stadium was inaugurated, in an encounter in front of Club Deportivo Riestra, in which the host team won so blunt. Upon the inauguration of the stadium had two side galleries.
The stadium had reformed several times, his most important work was the construction of a second tray on the street Mercedes, and also built a small gallery header that would give the Avenue Jonte. For the late 1980's the Islas Malvinas Stadium had a capacity for 12.000 spectators.
The stadium remained in the same way, until mid-2004 when a group of people, linked to the health club All Boys, managed to raise the necessary funds, and build a cement platform on the street Miranda, thus the capacity of the stadium is was increased to 16.500 spectator.
In 2006 the gallery was dismantled wooden planks of the street Chivilcoy and Wednesday September 20 of that year symbolically began construction of the new cement platform. From January 2007 through July of that year the gallery was built. It moved banks alternates and changing rooms were built in this new forum. When the work was completed, the subcommittee fan and other fans painted the rostrum. So finally the stadium's capacity increased to 21.000 spectator.
