Alfredo Valente (born November 6, 1980 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is Canadian soccer midfielder currently playing for the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Valente was drafted by the then 86ers as a top pick in the 1998 USL Player Draft from Alpha Secondary School, he would have a successful rookie season with the Caps appearing in 14 games and scoring 4 goals, and recording 4 assists. He was named Vancouver's Top Rookie that year. He was best season with the Caps was in 2000 where he led the team in scoring with 10 goals. In 2002, Valente led Vancouver in assists with 10, finishing tied for fifth overall in the USL First Division.During the 2006 season he scored one goal and added an assist helping the Whitecaps capture the Championship for the first time, beating the Rochester Raging Rhinos 3-0.
He is also a former member of the Canada U-20 men's national soccer team, and and played for the Canada U-23 team.
