Aleksejs Krucs (born February 1, 1976 in Rēzekne) is a Latvian footballer. He plays as a goalkeeper and his current club is FK Liepājas Metalurgs.

Krucs began his career at FK Vairogs Rēzekne where he played for the youth team before playing for the first team. He then moved to Riga to play for FK Universitāte where he stayed until 2000 when he moved to FK Rīga. In 2001 he moved to Liepājas Metalurgs. On 15 August 2002 Krucs played against Austrian club FC Kärnten in a UEFA Cup 2002-03 qualifying round match which Kärnten won 2-0.[1]

On 14 August 2003 he played in Metlaurgs UEFA Cup 2003-04 qualifying round match against Dinamo Bucureşti. Although Metalurtgs lost 5-2, Krucs was described as having an impressive match, foling the home side from scoring further goals.[2]

On 11 November 2002 Krucs was one of four goalkeepers called up by national coach, Aleksandrs Starkovs , to the 24 man Latvian squad for a UEFA Euro 2004 qualifying match against SanMarino.[3] However, on 19 November he was dropped from the squad when it was trimmed down to 19 players.[4]
