Air Charter was a French charter airline that operated from 1966 to 1998.

Air Charter was a subsidiary of Air France and was created in 1966 under the name SAFA-Societe Aerienne Francaise D'Affretement. From 1970 onwards it was know as Air Charter International. The first aircraft operated was the Caravelle 210 and it flew charter to the Mediterranean area. It was not until 1979 that a new aircraft type was introduced in the form of the Boeing 727-200. As the business grew, the first widebody aircraft was introduced in 1988, the Airbus A300B4 and then the Boeing 747-200 for flights to the United States. By the mid 1990's the 727s were replaced by the Airbus A320. With the merger of Air France and Air Inter in 1998, Air Charter was no longer needed and services were discontinued.
