The Africa Cup is a highly successful annual rugby union tournament involving African nations, organised by the Confederation of African Rugby (CAR). The tournament was first held in 2000, and has since been contested on an annual basis. The tournament was previously known as the CAR Top 9 and CAR Top 10 before becoming the Africa Cup in 2006.
