Achterneed railway station was a railway station serving Strathpeffer on the Kyle of Lochalsh Line, in Wester Ross, Scotland. Opened in 1870, the station was sited to the north of Strathpeffer between Dingwall and Garve. It was initially called Strathpeffer but the name was changed when the branch line to that town from Dingwall opened in 1885.

[edit] History
The station was opened by the Dingwall and Skye Railway, but operated from the outset by the Highland Railway. Taken into the London, Midland and Scottish Railway during the Grouping of 1923, the line then passed on to the Scottish Region of British Railways on nationalisation in 1948.
The station was then closed by the British Railways Board.
