[edit] Move Iraq Section?
Maybe the Iraq section needs to be moved to the first section, as the Global war on terrorism is a current engagement that the 8th Cavalry has been and is currently involved in.
[edit] 6th Squadron 8th Cavalry
I was reading this (Being a former member of the 6th Squadron 8th cavalry), and I noticed there is no mention of 6th Squadron, 8th Cavalry. I have added some.User:Freeyourmind775|Freeyourmind775]] (talk) 09:16, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Chronological List of Actions 1866 -1891
I may delete this later. But for reference, The 8th was all over the west. I don't know when their focus switched, but they spent a lot of time involved in the Apache Wars. I a weak when it comes to tribes and bands that were west of the Apacheans, along the Colorado etc., and to the south east in Texas and up the Rio Grande.
These entries come from Chronological List of Actions, & C., with Indians from 1/1/1866 to 1/1/1891.
