8STOPS7 is a rock band which was signed to Warner Bros. Records/Reprise Records under the Warner Music Group umbrella in 1999 and toured nationally throughout the early 2000s. Their first major label release, In Moderation, released in 1999 sold more than 150,000 copies, enjoyed widespread national radio airplay, and scored two hits on the Billboard top 40. These included "Question Everything", 2000, and "Satisfied", 2000. They also had two of their songs, "Satisfied", and "My Would-be Savior" featured in the Sony Playstation game, Street Sk8er 2 soundtrack and "Satisfied" featured in the Sony Playstation 2 game, Gran Turismo 3 soundtrack. The video for "Satisfied" was featured on the MTV show 120 Minutes. "Question Everything" was featured on the Friends again soundtrack with music featured on the NBC sitcom. Formed in Ventura, California in 1997, the original line-up consisted of singer Evan Sula-Goff, guitarist Seth Watson, bassist Alex Viveros, and percussionist Adam Powell. The band later recruited guitarist Aaron Johnson and became a five-piece. Bassist Paul Wickstrom was brought into the lineup in 2002 replacing Viveros respectively. Seth Watson left shortly thereafter to complete his college education and the band once again became a four piece with Johnson their sole guitarist. Johnson left a few years later to pursue his other project Le Meu Le Purr. The most recent addition, guitarist Rodney Amieva prequelled the return of Viveros and Watson. This remains their current line-up. In 2007, three songs off the Birth Of A Cynic album were featured in a short film by Kane George Jason, called He's Not My... which was produced by Contempovision Films. The band is currently working on their fourth album set to be released in 2008.
