740 Boyz is a dance musical duet founded in 1991 whose members are Winston Rosa and Dose Material, two producers of Dominican origin.
Winston Rosa worked with several singers including Shaggy, while Dose Material has been included in the group 2 In A Room[1].
Their first single, "Shimmy Shake", was successful in France (#2 at the end of 1995 Top 50) and Belgium[2], while it had a very little success on the British, German and U.S. Charts. A few months later, the second single "Bump Bump (Booth Shake)" was released ; it peaked at #14 in France and achieved a minor succes in other European countries, including Belgium and the Netherlands[3].
