[edit] Re: F-105 Thunderbird

I think that's the article. But anyway, if you want to listen to audio files that are in .ogg format, then download foobar2000. Once the page loads, click on "normal installer." if you have a personal preference, that should be fine. You should select "open" or "run" when the installer appears. That program will play .ogg files. --Pilotguy (talk ¦ ) 21:29, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Air Combat audio upload

If you are reading this, I have sent you an email as instructed concerning the audio upload. -- Znode 05:03, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia accepts oggs up to 20MB in size. That would translate to about 20-40 minutes of ogg, depending on the quality and method by which you encode them files. Do you still need help on encoding the files to ogg format? I emailed you last time asking whether you could talk on a faster medium, but did not receive an email. -- Znode 03:03, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

Sorry. Did not know methodology to respons. My problem is that I know little about your (this) system, even for communication; but I am evolving. Anyway, I have Roxio which has done the encoding; I will reduce to 20mb. What is the procedure for Up_Load; to where? Then to link from F-105, Wile Weasel, Rolling Thunder. I will also need to download the "reader" for OGG so that when I click an OGG audio link on Wiki I will automatically hear it.--spoongap

Concerning air combat audio: Sorry for the late reply, I didn't think to check your talk pages. (Just so you know, the convention here is to reply to me on my talk page. This is because then, I would have the "New Messages" notification.) If you have them encoded, you upload by clicking Upload file; the link is present on any page, on the toolbox to the left (below the Search bar, there's What links here, Recent Changes, ..., Upload file). Once you upload using that, make note of the file name, and you can use that file name to link the audio to the page you wish, like linking a picture.
Please reply on my talk page (you can use this link) if you have more questions.

[edit] Re: Spoken Wiki

Wikipedia:Media has information on uploading audio files. I see that you've already contacted Znode about it, and since he is the resident audio expert, you should be set. -- Natalya 18:25, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Log in

Did you specify an email address for your account? That is how you get a new password. If you did not specify an email address, I do not know if it will work that way for you.

If you did specify a password, you want to type your name into the "Username" field on the login page and click on the "Email new password" button. Once that happens, you should get a message saying that a new password has been sent to the email address you specified for the account. You will then get an email message giving you a new password to login with.

However, if you didn't specify an email address, this is all a moot point. When I try to email Spoongap (talk · contribs), I am told that either you did not specify a valid email address or you are not accepting email from users. Do you remember if you specified an email address when you created the account? -- Natalya 18:41, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] LOG IN

Thank you for your concern. However, this is a long dead (moot) issue. Your system forced me to abandon Spoongap and start all over with Plumalley. I was a locked out innocent. If you want to do something useful you can "convert" the useful edits that Spoongap made and re-assign them to Plumalley. Please do not describe more complexity; I am barely making it. --plumalley
