Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Lauren Burk. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Fritzpoll (talk) 09:06, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

- No, you won't get blocked for the comment you left on the Lauren Burk talk page, but it doesn't do anything to help your cause either. If you do want to voice your opinion in a civil and tactful way, take a look at User:Fritzpoll/Notability (criminal acts) and the associated talk page, which has bearing on the Lauren Burk AfD, among others. A last note, please do not recreate talk pages for no purpose other than to spout off. Thanks. Parsecboy (talk) 03:37, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
"A last note, please do not recreate talk pages for no purpose other than to spout off." -Talk pages are meant to 'spout off.' A valid entry was closed. A true user-oriented discussion would keep the entry AND the discussion page open. This entry is put here because Parsecboy won't let me edit on his/her page. A cowardly act in my opinion.
- No, "spouting off" is specifically prohibited on talk pages. Please read {{talkheader}}, you'll see that it specifically states
- "This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the Diablo II article.
This is not a forum for general discussion about the article's subject"
- As for my talk page, the page protection was not specifically aimed at you; I've been a target for harassment by a permanently blocked user, and it was semi-protected to prevent further harassment. I've unprotected it, but I do prefer to keep discussions located in one place for readability's sake. I've been nothing but polite to you; there's no need to insult me. If you want your block list to grow, continue making ad hominem comments. Parsecboy (talk) 04:23, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

- No, spouting off is not really all that subjective. If you were making legitimate suggestions, that's constructive use of the talk page. Voicing gripes about how a certain group of editors has handled a situation is not only treading danerously into personal attacks, it's not relevant to the article in question.
- As I stated before, I have a "friend" who periodically harasses me; the page was semi-protected to deal with his vandalism. It has nothing to do with my character. Again, if you're not here to contribute in a civil manner, I'll not hesitate to block you. You argue that "Wiki sites only thrive when contributors can work freely", well, being able to work in a civil atmosphere is probably more important; we can't afford to drive away positive contributors by insulting them. If you're just here to attack those who disagree with you, I'll see to it that your time here is limited. Parsecboy (talk) 04:47, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Parsecboy, it's evident you go after anyone who calls you out on your heavy handed approach to editing. You come off as pompous to think your opinion is the only one that is valid and anyone who questions it is 'spouting off' and comes close to 'personal attacks.' I would like to work in a civil atmosphere, but I do not feel that is possible with people who think their opinions are the only ones that are valid and make threats to those who question them. When this happens, Wikipedia is not civil because its users cannot contribute freely.
- Please point out where I ever denigrated your opinion? I clearly stated that there's a discussion you might be interested in contributing to, in regards to potential new policy that directly affects areas you seem to be interested in. I also suggested deletion review for the Lauren Burk article. As for recreating deleted talk pages, that's "against the rules". There's also no legitimate reason to recreate a talk page for a deleted article, unless the article itself was being recreated.
- You don't even know me, or how I deal with people here. If you did, you'd see that you're dead wrong. I've been nothing but civil and helpful with you, and instead you began immediately provoking me; that's not what I call "wanting to work in a civil atmosphere". Parsecboy (talk) 14:46, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
You are absolutely right. I do not know you, just as you do not know me. You have been neither civil nor helpful. All I have experienced is someone who makes it a hobby to micromanage strangers and tries to belittle them by demeaning their opinions as "spouting off." Perhaps if you were civil, you would not have to block your talk page, since it appears that provoking others is a pattern of yours. All I ask is that you leave me alone.
- I gave you options to pursue your concerns with the Lauren Burk deletion; how is that not attempting to be helpful? If you're upset that I deleted the comment on the Lauren Burk talk page, well, tough. The page was deleted, whether you or I agree with isn't the point; recreating deleted talk pages without legitimate reason to do so is disruptive. End of story in that regard. As for my talk page, you have no clue as to why my talk page was protected in the first place, so don't comment on it as if you do. As you wish, this will be my last comment on your talk page. Parsecboy (talk) 19:58, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Thank you, all I ask is that you extend that courtesy to me elsewhere on Wikipedia. I will let you have the last word.

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 03:56, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, yeah I know. It's difficult when everyone attacks you.
