I'm guessing both of us share the same IP, if the user does get banned, will I be able to log back into my real account, or will I just be banned from the site completely?
Why did I get directed here from a link that claimed I had new messages? 68.209.248.80 23:14, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
To both of you: There's a bug that causes this. No ones fixed it yet:-( If you log in with a user name, this won't happen to you. Lots of people worry about logging in but there is no reason to. All you need to do is choose a name and password. You don't have to give any personal info at all. There is a field for email but you don't have to fill it in.You are actually more anon when you log in than when you don't because no one can see the IP of logged in users Theresa Knott (The torn steak) 23:28, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gamaliel 03:18, 12 Jan 2005 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
