The 1959 British Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at the Aintree Circuit on 18 July 1959. It was the fifth race of the 1959 Formula One season. The race was won by Australian Jack Brabham in a works Cooper. His team mate Bruce McLaren finished in third place. Splitting the Coopers was a British Racing Partnership-entered BRM in second place, driven by Stirling Moss, the best ever result for a BRP car.
