[edit] Revisions on Pottery related articles
Your persistant efforts on a number of pottery/ceramics related articles have been noticed. As of now, several editors are simply reverting your contributions for the following reasons:
- you have provided no source material or documentation to back up your contributions and there is no indication that the contributions are not copyrighted.
- you have removed large blocks of material, including references, without explanation.
- you have failed to incorporate your new information with existing accurate information in the articles, but have simply replaced the material with your preferred version.
Wikipedia is a collaborative encyclopedia. Many editors contribute, negotiate, adjust and tweek to get an accurate version for each article. All productive and cooperative editors are welcome to contribute. A neutral point of view is required on all Wikipedia articles. This is Wikipedia policy. If you would like to discuss your opinion, your point of view, or the point of view of your sources, the discussion page is the place. Please make comments there before you edit the articles again. As a working potter, I can assure you that I will evaluate and discuss your contributions and that worthy material will be included. Note that I cleaned up and included your material on Josiah Wedgewood in the Pyrometric cone article. Thank you. WBardwin 00:03, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Coprophilia. It is considered vandalism, which under Wikipedia policy, can lead to blocking of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. - Gilliam 23:53, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
