Łobez [ˈwɔbɛs] (German: Labes) is a town in Poland, in West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is the capital of Łobez County. Population is 10,657 (2005).
Łobez lies on the Rega river.

The name Łobez comes from the Old Polish łobuzie (meaning "bushes").

Łobez was mentioned firstly in a document from 1271. According to that, the Borko knight was the owner of the city. In 1295 Łobez has got the rights as a city.
