[edit] Mediation
I have agreed to mediate the discussion in the Gilad Shalit case, if accepted by the participants. I have experience mediating in the world outside Wikipedia and have completed the Dispute Resolution Program at the Justice Institute of British Columbia, Canada. I have been a Wikipedia contributor since 2003 and have informally mediated several cases, including one for MedCab (which was concluded successfully). I have applied to join the Mediation Committee. As a mediator, my role would be to facilitate discussion. My approach would include the following:
- Listen to all participants
- Help formulate an agenda
- Identify common interests
- Identify pertinent facts/policies/research that would assist participants in forming agreement
- Facilitate an agreement and action plan.
As a non-member of Medcom, the convention is for participants to approve the mediator. Please indicate your response here. Sunray (talk) 22:09, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your vote of confidence in the process in the RfM for Gilad Shalit.
- I suggest that we start with an opening statement from each of the participants on the RfM talk page. I've also suggested a few groundrules there. If at any time you wish to contact me privately via e-mail, please feel free to do so here. Best wishes. Sunray (talk) 22:02, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] RE Discussion: User_talk:Gary_WebTrain
Hi. Can you please review the last section on my talk page , perhaps provide a comment or two for guidance ? Thanks Gary WebTrain (talk) 17:53, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Weird, I wanted to add a notability reference section to my talk page. The changes previewed fine, but they would not post (save). The changes were as follows.. Am I doing something wrong ? Gary WebTrain (talk) 10:23, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Maybe there is a edit size limit ?? (re: not posting) Gary WebTrain (talk) 10:28, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
In regards to your offer to be so bold to drop content and edit, please do so, this is a work in progress, I appreciate your assistance. Gary WebTrain (talk) 10:28, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
= Recent History Edits and Notability =
I modified history, I added a reference to the Robin Good article, from masternewmedia.org, they perform very deep product reviews of major web conferencing products, it should be a notable reference. I've created a reference section below and would like opinions regarding validity and notability. Note we are also mentioned in a Frost and Sullivan Web Conferencing publication, but the publication is private and fee based ($4500). Our V3 join development (that was moved from history to this talk page) relating to the F10 company can be found at a public URL, unfortunately, we are bound by security policies to not disclose it. arrrg. I'll have to check with legal or seek special permission for a reference on that, as the company is one of the largest in the world.
= Unverified - Citation needed =
Content from user page below was moved to talk page - citation / verification is needed:
The version 2 product release sparked interest from a Fortune 10 communications company to co-jointly develop version 3.[citation needed] After 2 years of joint development, and 6 months of testing and security reviews performed by the F10 company and IBM security, a completely new client version (with C# .NET based meeting servers) was released. The F10 company has since used the product for 4 years to host over 500,000 meetings. Verizon released the following media: https://www36.verizon.com/digitalcompanion/Flash/ClientFlash/sec2_part5.swf
= Notability - please comment =
Are these references notable enough? Wiki states university, college, gov't, and institutions are preferred. Gary WebTrain (talk) 10:23, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] I'm alive
I haven't been able to get online recently (past two days), but I should be able to get on sometime tommorrow. I'll say hi to you on IRC or whatever. I guess I'll be able to jump back into the case, but we'll see. Have a good day =) Mm40 (talk | contribs) 23:54, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] My Josh Bernstein Articles
The BOSS article was not an advertisment had the person who eleted the link gone and read the article. My other interviews with him are relevent because he had some really good points and answers to the questions. Maybe others would enjoy reading them and they are no worse than the ones already included on the list of articles about him as my articles are about HIM :)

[edit] Welcome Subst
Hi there. Next time you add a welcome template to a user talk page such as {{welcome}} please remember to substitute it using {{subst:Welcome}} instead. If you would like to as me a question about this please talk to me on my talk page. ·Add§hore· Talk/Cont 22:39, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. I'm confused here; am I even allowed to edit this page? I have read your guidelines (although I think they're kind of hilarious, but I suppose that's natural for newbies probably). Anyway, I have had received an adoption invitation from another person (although I can't find him now). Can one have two adoptees? Also, it says in your guideline that one needs to ignore all rules? I don't think I quite understand that... Thanks a lot for your help! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chagfeh (talk • contribs) 09:55, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi there, sorry to come off as such a stalker, but I just added information about the Bird and the Bee's latest album, but I wanted to upload a picture for the album and I didn't know how to do so; how can I go about it?
Thanks so much for your help!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chagfeh (talk • contribs) 15:12, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
