Tribalwars is an RPG (role-playing game) set in Middle Ages. The goal of the game is to obtain materials (wood/clay/iron), these in turn enable users to develop villages by upgrading the level of buildings and also to build troops. The building of troops enables users to defend, attack and conquer other villages.

[change] The Game's Basics
The game is free to play, serious players however can purchase a premium account which give gives them special privileges, a larger map and more information views and much more. At one point in time there has been 20 standard worlds and 2 bonus worlds. Though at present the only worlds users can join as a free player are 12/13/14/15/16/17/18/19/20. The high performance and speed rounds are only available to those who have premium account status.

Each player can have 1 village per world, more that 1 world can only be achieved by having 2 email addresses. There are rules that apply to people who have more than one account or who share an Internet connection. These rules basically state users cannot trade materials or supply support troops between each account. People caught doing this can be banned from the world the offence occurs on or from the entire game, depending on the severity of the crime.

A important part of the game is the ability to join/create tribes. Tribes are able to talk to each other through the tribal forum and are also able to create alliances and N.A.P's (None Aggression Pacts) With which other as well as declare war with each other. This forms a crucial part of the game as it is very difficult to succeed without a tribe supporting users.
