She Wants Revenge is an American darkwave band, based in San Fernando Valley, California. They released their debut album in early 2006, which spawned three successful singles. The music video of "Tear You Apart," directed by Joaquin Phoenix, gained heavy rotation on music channels, and the song appears in the movie The Number 23. Shirley Manson from Garbage appears in their video for the song "These Things".
The band's second album, This Is Forever, was released on October 9, 2007.

[edit] Influences
She Wants Revenge's sound is influenced by '80s bands and acts like Bauhaus, Prince, Erik B and Rakim, Joy Division, New Order, The Cure, Danse Society, The Psychedelic Furs, Depeche Mode, early The Sisters of Mercy[1], and Suicide.[citation needed]
[edit] History
The band toured extensively through 2006 with Depeche Mode[2] and Placebo [3].
In 2007, the group was featured on the track "Time" with Timbaland. In a recent interview, Adam Bravin told Suicide Girls that She Wants Revenge has a lot of unreleased potential b-sides, like "Love to Sleep," which they'd like to share. Adam added that the band would like to tour with their heroes Bauhaus and The Cure.[4]
As of 2008, the group is back in the studio working on some new material.[5] Recently, they have been released from their contract with the label Geffen/Interscope, according to a MySpace bulletin, alongside acts like Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails who have recently declared independence. The group formed their own label, Perfect Kiss, formerly an imprint, in 2008.
She Wants Revenge announced in a MySpace bulletin that the band will be releasing an EP, titled 'Save Your Soul,' tentatively slated for release on May 8th, 2008. The EP will contain four tracks, 'Save Your Soul,' 'A Hundred Kisses,' 'Sugar,' and 'Sleep.'
Their new EP, 'Save Your Soul,' was released to iTunes on May 13, 2008. [6]
The group has also recently formed a fan club and is participating in the 2008 Nylon summer tour.
