Saindhavi is a Carnatic music singer and a South Indian film playback singer. She is learning carnatic and classical music for the past 5 years and currently learning from Sri.N.Sashikiran of carnatica.com and Smt Padmachandilyan and Srimushnam Raja Rao. She is also learning Hindustani music.
Saindhavi as a playback singer has given some hit songs in Tamil films, serials and albums. A few popular hit songs are Andankakka from the film Anniyan, Achu vella karumbae from the film Thotti Jaya, Kannan Manivannan from the film Paramasivan, Ippo illatti eppo from the film Aadhi, and most recently Kelamal Kaiyile from the film Azhagiya Tamil Magan and Kannamoochi Aatam from Kannamoochi Yenada
She has sung title songs for the TV Serials Idhu oru kaadhal kadhai,Edhirneechal, Chellamay Chellam, Magalir Mattum etc. She is also one of the lead[citation needed] vocalists in the popular series of albums 'Sacred Chants' by Kosmic Music.
