Rubber
From the Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can change
Rubber (sometimes called latex rubber) is an elastic hydrocarbon polymer which occurs as a milky emulsion (known as latex) in the sap of several varieties of plants. People have also learned how to make synthetic rubber.
The main source of natural latex used for making rubber is the Para rubber tree, Hevea brasiliensis (Euphorbiaceae).
Some common things made from rubber are gloves, vehicle tires, plugs, and latex masks. The stretchy quality of rubber is one of its useful properties.
