[change] Chiyoda-ku

The article is a very poor translation (likely Japanese to English). It needs fact checking (something lost in the translation?) as well as grammar help. -- Creol(talk) 11:37, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

[change] Self-Strengthening Movement

The article just stops in mid sentence. -- Creol(talk) 17:34, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

[change] Chinese New Year

The article appears to be copied from the English Wikipedia. It also stops in mid-sentence. Chenzw (talkchanges) 09:09, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

[change] Ruwer (municipality)

The page was created to contain articles on the several villages in the municipality. The problem at the moment is that alomst every village reads xyz is a village near Trier. There are abc people living in the village. --Eptalon 21:51, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

[change] Dragon Ball (Z)

The articles in the category Category:Dragon Ball Z need cleanup. The main work of this will be to merge Dragon Ball Z into Dragon Ball, come up with a way to reference or describe the main characters of the series. Also it would be nice ot see other information, like how popluar it is/was, how it was received, etc. Another thing is that there shound be how to use this or the price of it. --Eptalon 13:46, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

[change] Anti(-)Semitism

I tried to move the Anti-Semitism page to Antisemitism as the word is spelled in the English Wikipedia (and for good reason). The move was disallowed, stating that "a page of that name already exists..." - even though above, it says this is disallowed "unless it is empty or a redirect... " I checked, and the page Antisemitism is only a redirect. What to do about this? -- Thanks, Deborahjay 22:08, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

There was a merge done, from Antisemitism to the article that is now there. Since the page that now redirects (from Antisemitism to Anti-Semitism) has a history, itr needs to be deleted for that move. This would mean that the original revisions would be lost. --Eptalon 22:34, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
I'm not sure I understand: is it the need to avoid losing the revisions on the Redirect page's history what's preventing the Anti-Semitism [sic] page itself from being moved to the current correct term (Antisemitism)? -- Deborahjay 21:20, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
Why don't we just merge the histories to retain both on the same article? -- Creol(talk) 00:41, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Do you suggest a merge of the Anti-Semitism and Antisemitism page histories? Will that make it possible to move the page to the more correct name? If so, that would be a good idea, but I don't know enough about it and how to do it. Advice, please! -- Deborahjay 21:05, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Done - Histories merged and the page moved to the more common Antisemitism. -- Creol(talk) 20:12, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

[change] March

  • Red Hot Chili Peppers: Rework grammar for clarity.
    • Done. Advise you guys to check it over again. My first cleanup. Second paragraph is sound, but the first paragraph, this sentence is getting me confused "Their next album became their first to enter the Billboard Top 200, 1987's The Uplift Mofo Party Plan, was produced by Michael Beinhorn." Please change it or offer suggestions.Joechang123 01:23, 18 May 2007 --joechang123
      • Well done! Although it can still be cleaned up a little more. Huji 18:11, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
        • Done. only changed the sentence suggested by Joechang123 MrB 23:23, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Cool. I moved it again, from Polikovskaya to Politkovskaya and added a link in en.wikipedia. --Rimshot 12:06, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Mao Zedong needs a complete rewrite. Previous version was so NPOV it was better removed. I don't know about the factual accuracy (he liked watching his victims in pain), but we must remain neutral. Archer7 | talk 09:57, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
Before I saw this note, I restored the previous version because it had been blanked out. Blanking articles out or trying to whitewash a mass murderer as if he was more important than the tens of thousands of victims, is not the way to do a rewrite. If it needs a rewrite, the key word is citations. Much of his crimes are verifiable and can easily be sourced. Blockinblox 11:41, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
I am not a suporter of Mao Zedong but using words like crimes is incorrect because they were not legal called so. In the eyes of the perpetrators they were to maintain stability--Frozenport 06:15, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
I just finished semi-rewriting the article. While I do know a bit about Zedong, I am no expert, so I confined myself to general sentence and writing style cleanup. I believe it is on the verge of being ready to exit the Cleanup section. TheWolf 13:17, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
