Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. We are also working most on core articles and the most common topics until this Wikipedia grows.

Administrators on Wikipedia can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. First of all, welcome to Simple English Wikipedia! We are glad to have you here. Thanks for all the new articles you've been adding. I would just like to suggest to you that you add categories and interwiki (links to that article in other languages) whenever possible. Even if you're just creating a stub, it's a good idea to always have those things. If you have any questions about how to do this, or questions about anything else, I'd be happy to help. I usually keep another window open with the English Wikipedia version of the article I am editing here. If you do it that way, you can easily copy and paste the interwiki. It also makes it easy for you to add [[simple:(article name)]] to the English Wikipedia version of the article. Also, make sure you add [[en:(article name)]] to your Simple English article. Another thing copying the interwiki from en:wiki helps with is finding if the subject already exists. Sometimes when creating a page, the en:wiki already has a link to a simple:wiki page listed on it, when you preview your edit, the link to the simple page will show up at the bottom telling you that a page already exists so you can either merge your information there, or create a redirect as needed. When it comes to categories, sometimes I'll copy, paste, and preview to see what categories already exist here. Obviously if they exist here, I keep them. If they don't, there are a few things that can be done:

1. You can try to find the closest category we have
2. Just delete them if we don't have anything even close
3. Create a category if you think it's something that can be useful (like if there are other articles you can think of to add to the category. We usually like a category to have 2 or 3 articles that can be put in it before it's created).

Let me give you an example of a page you worked on that I cleaned up: Nero. The categories it is in on English Wikipedia are: "Julio-Claudian Dynasty | Roman emperors | Ancient Olympic competitors | Roman emperors to suffer posthumous denigration or damnatio memoriae | Roman emperors who committed suicide | Ancient people who committed suicide | Suicides by sharp instrument | 37 births | 68 deaths". The categories I put him in here are: "Roman Emperors and Empresses | 37 births | 68 deaths". "Julio-Claudian Dynasty" might be worth a category at some point in the future but not quite yet. At some point in the future we could also maybe have "People who have commited suicide". The others are just too detailed so I left them out completely. Berek, please do not just copy and paste articles over from English Wikipedia. You may think you are helping by adding more information, but the whole point of Simple English is to have pages that use simpler English. Using the English article as a starting point and then simplifying it is a good idea and many editors do it. But it is not helpful to just leave it there unsimplified. I am going to revert to earlier versions of St. Paul's Cathedral and Trans-Siberian railway. I will give you some time to simplify Order of the Garter, Franks, List of Byzantine Emperors, and Privy Council of the United Kingdom but if there have been no changes in a few days, I will either put them up for deletion or create a stub. Also, when you are adding the English interwiki link, please make sure to put it in alphabetical order instead of just adding it to the end of the list. Please stop creating pages without categories and interwiki. You are creating more work for other editors by making them check over your work and add these very important parts of an article. • I'm sorry, but I don't find messages like this very helpful in creating a community spirit here. Please try and be more positive in encouraging contributors - if you feel that every i has to be dotted and t crossed first time, that's your bad luck - The message under the edit box says : "Don't be afraid to create and improve articles! I'm sorry if you feel I'm not creating a good community spirit, but what exactly do you think you are doing by ignoring all the comments I gave you to help teach you how to add interwiki and categories? I feel like you are creating a negative atmosphere by refusing to do a simple thing like adding these important parts of an article--especially after being asked not to and being shown exactly how to do it. I don't expect your edits, nor anyone else's, to be perfect. I am not asking you to be perfect. I am asking you to add these things, or at the very least mark the page with a template that says you have not added them yourself so that someone else can easily come back and fix them. You clearly know how to add these things because you added them to Robert Burns after I asked you to.
