[edit] Career
Brightman began her musical career under the pseudonym of Eve, but changed it to Violet, to avoid confusion with the American rapper Eve. In 1999 she began working with the staff of Nemo Studio, Hamburg, Germany; starting by writing material for the Spanish singer, Princessa's I Won't Forget You album. During her time at Nemo, Violet began working on her debut solo album with producer Frank Peterson and contributing to many of his other projects. Violet has written for, toured with and provided vocals for many albums by the Gregorian chant project, Gregorian. She has also toured with and written for her sister Sarah.
