Adult Swim (also called [adult swim]) is a group of television shows for adults older than 17 that is shown on Cartoon Network. It began on September 2, 2001 and was created by Williams Street Studios. On March 28, 2005, Nielsen Media Research shows that Adult Swim is now separate from Cartoon Network (like Nickelodeon's Nick at Nite). Adult Swim is part of Turner Broadcasting System. It is known for showing mature, adult anime, or Japanese-style animation.

- Saved by the Bell - Originally people thought this was fake. However, April 18th it was shown, though during this time Adult Swim was temporarily renamed [crappy 1980's live action tv show network] as a joke [1]

On Friday they have something called Friday Night Fix on AdultSwim.com. This began on September 16, 2005. However, on March 27, 2006, it was renamed Adult Swim Fix.
Adult Swim Fix starts at 6PM and ends at 6AM (eastern time). It shows new and favorite episodes of different Adult Swim shows. Recently, anime shows were shown on Adult Swim Fix.
