[edit] Initial thoughts on how to run this page
As this page is new it will likely undergo rapid development, but the idea is that Adopters should leave a comment on their experiences under an appropriate heading – if there is not already one create one. Again for immediate of urgent problems please leave a message at Wikipedia Talk:Adopt-a-User
As such experiences are unlikely to be time sensitive the page should not be formatted like a talk page, with the newest comment last, but under headings of similar experiences. This will prevent unnecessary repetition and allow the location of desired topic easy to find.
Adopters should relate their experiences in sufficient detail so anybody can understand the issue, but a succinct as possible. People who are responding to other's experiences should try and stay on topic and to the point.
Well I suppose we should just see how it goes then :):) Lethaniol 14:53, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Editing this page?
I was wondering if it would be okay for me to edit this page. I have seen several minor spelling mistakes, and normally I would simply edit it, but as it seems to be formatted somewhat like a talk page I am wary of changing anything. Can I?--Song 17:55, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Since this is for people to share their experiences, it's probably best to leave it alone. In general I don't edit signed comments unless it's necessary--something like putting a colon before a category name so it will show up, or using {{tl}} on a template that oughtn't to have been transcluded. --Sopoforic 01:36, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Okay then. Thanks for your reply. Best regards.--Song 15:14, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
