Michael H. Crawford

Michael Crawford (Twickenham, 1939) è un numismatico e storico britannico, specializzato in storia antica. Crawfor è l'autore del testo di riferimento per la coniazione monetaria della repubblica romana, Roman Republican Coinage (RRC).
Michael Crawford ha studiato alla St Paul's School e all'Oriel College, Oxford.
Ha cominciato la sua attività didattica al Christ's College, Cambridge in 1964 dove ha avuto la cattedra di storia antica dal 1969 al 1986. Dal 1986 al 2005 ha insegnato all'University College London, dove ora è Emeritus Professor.
