Template:User Singapore
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Usage
This template can be used by editors on their user pages to show their affiliation to Singapore. It takes an optional parameter called "status". As indicated in the table below, there are six possible options:
- If "status" is set to "r" ("resident") the template indicates that the user "lives in Singapore". "sr" ("Singaporean resident") indicates the user "is a Singaporean living in Singapore" while "so" ("Singaporean overseas") indicates a user who "is a Singaporean living outside Singapore".
- If "status" is set to "f" (for "friend") the template indicates that the user is a "friend of Singapore", "fr" ("friend resident") indicates the user "is a friend of Singapore living in Singapore" while "fo" ("friend overseas") indicates a user who "is a friend of Singapore living outside Singapore".
Omitting the "status" parameter results in the template defaulting to indicate that the user "is Singaporean".
The template automatically adds users' pages to Category:Wikipedians in Singapore, irrespective of parameter values used.
