Umaru Rahman (born December 15, 1982 in Freetown, Sierra Leone) is a Sierra Leonean international footballer, who is a striker and currently plays for LG-ACB Ha Noi, one of the top clubs in the Vietnam top football league, and for the Leone Stars, Sierra Leone national football team.

Umaru Rahman was born on Demcember 15, 1982 in Freetown to a Temne mother and a Sierra Leonean-Lebanese father. He started his football career in his native Sierra Leone with powerhouse East End Lions in the Sierra Leone National Premier League, were he was the team captain and one of the best players in the premier league. Rahman signed with top Vietnamese club, ACB Ha Noi in 2004.

In 2001, Rahman made his senior international debut for Sierra Leone against Liberia in a 2002 fifa world cup qualifier played in Monrovia.
