From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Swiss mountain dogs are a group of large molosser type dogs originating from Switzerland. The breeds of this group all share a unique tri-colour coat, heavy build, large size, and a kind, calm temperament. These breeds are rare and not very well known, with the exception of the Bernese Mountain Dog, which has become a popular pet in North America.
