Svodín (Hungarian: Szőgyén is a village and municipality in the Nové Zámky District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1156.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 202 metres and covers an area of 53.606 km². It has a population of about 2,625 people.

The population is about 78% Magyar, 20% Slovak and 2% Romany.
