Supetar is a town in the country of Croatia, and lies on the northern side of the Dalmatian island of Brac in the Adriatic Sea. Supetar takes its name from Saint Peter, which is the name's English translation. The official language is Croatian, however most inhabitants also speak English, Italian and German. Supetar is accessible via 45 minute ferry from the mainland city of Split. It currently is the capital of the island with a population of 3,062, and is the island's largest town.
