Stuart Carruthers (born March 31, 1970 in Melbourne, Victoria) is a former field hockey player from Australia, who was a member of the Men's National Hockey Team that won the bronze medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.
Player/Coach of the Undefeated Minor Premiers and Premiers of the Sydney Hockey Premier League 2nd Grade, of Burwood Briars Hockey Club. Carruthers or more commonly known as Razz put in a man of the match performance in the grand final scoring twice and being sent off with the game on the line.
After announcing his retirement at the conclusion of the match the players decided to confirm his god-like status by dedicating a song to him that would for long be etched in the minds and hearts of all Briars hockey players and fans alike, “If You leave Me Now” by Chicago.
