Steve Bucknall

Steven Lee Bucknall (born March 17, 1966 in London, England) is an English former professional basketball player, and current head coach of British Basketball League expansion franchise London Capital.
Bucknall was the second Englishman to play in the NBA, for the Los Angeles Lakers where he had a brief stint after graduating from the University of North Carolina. He subsequently went onto play in a number of European countries including Greece, France, Italy and the UK.
Prior to his retirement, Bucknall played for the bronze medal-winning English basketball team in the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia.
He is presently engaged as a community sports coach in Lewisham, London.
