Stadio San Filippo is a football stadium in Messina, Italy. It is currently the home of F.C. Messina Peloro.

The stadium was initially commissioned in the beginning of '90 years, but it was finished in 2004 and it was officially opened on August 17, 2004 with the friendly match Messina-Juventus (0-1, Emerson). The first official match was a week later, on August 22, Coppa Italia match Messina-Acireale (4-0). It substituted the old 11,000 seaters Stadio Comunale Giovanni Celeste which is now used as training field for Messina team.

The total area is 114,640 sm, of which 44,300 sm reserved to car parking and 70,340 sm to a service building close to the stadium. There is no athletic track around the field, and the visibility is very good in each sector.
The only trouble is the total absence of a cover in all sectors, but an agreemenent between the team owners and the municipality will solve the problem in a few time.

The name take place from the south zone of Messina where it is built, but a couple of petitions aim to rename it after the former Messina manager Franco Scoglio or the Messina Saint Hannibal Mary Di Francia.
