[edit] Wombat's Public Labs
Right now, there's just an empty table and a stack of paper. Come back soon to see if I've written anything down.
[edit] MIDI Files
One piece of paper has been taped to the wall. It says:
"Something cool you can do with MIDI files is to change the tempo of the song by adjusting the 13th and 14th bytes of the file. That's the field in the global header which defines how long each beat is, and it ranges from 0x0000 to 0xFFFF. It's relative for each file, because the actual timing is performed later in the notes on each track. Usually one only modifies the 14th byte, since small changes tend to produce large results. |
[edit] Why Sr. Wombat?
That's me! Sr.Wombat! Do you feel Spanish? Then I am Señor Wombat. Do you feel English? Then I am Sir Wombat. Over on the Latin version of Wikipedia, I go by Praetor Wombatus.
