Solo X is the name given by fans to the upcoming tenth solo recording of John Frusciante, written and recorded during 2005–2007. Though Frusciante has made the statements that 17 songs were considered for this album and at least 14 would be included, an unmastered copy of the recording included only 10 tracks.
Brief phrases from lyrics believed to be from this album were inscribed on the Curtains vinyl. They are "this whole circle stands stamp where you stand," and "a million ways things could be."
