I suppose I should take a bit of time out of RC and chasing vandals to actually place some bio information on here. Maybe even actually write some "articles", but let's not go too quickly.
I don't develop upon film properly, so here's an
artist rendition by a friend. It's copyrighted, so I can't upload it to Wikipedia, but it's only one extra click, so I hope you don't mind too much. :)
I'm Soir-Lilac "Nall" Blackwing, a chaos dragon, and I reside somewhere within Lancashire, England. I add 1 to my level on 16 September, and have been playing the Game since 1985. I'm starting university - again - later this month, having spent a year slugging it out at the University of Oxford in a physics course to discover 'hey, wait, this isn't right'. So, now I do computer networking, over at UCLAN. Less grand, but a good subject, and closer to home.
Most people I know refer to me as Nall, as per Lunar: The Silver Star, offline and online: it's a self-imposed nickname that stuck, and then gained a higher purpose of being used as my (not-quite universal) identity. I'm of no relation to the Wikipedian Nall, though.
I'm also not a sockpuppet of Andrevan, despite what he may lead anyone to believe. We're friends pre-Wikipedia, as are Comic, Dom, Treesock the Hughes fangirl, αγδεε, and anyone who should be here that isn't. Despite having a list of friends that doesn't mean I'm unfriendly to everyone else, of course. :)
My first edit was of this page, 02:53, 4 September 2005, and most of my Wikitime is spent on patrol, generally with stubs, speedies, and vandals. I do check requests for comment and articles for deletion, too. Sooner or later I'll probably pledge allegiance to an article, but that's not happened yet.
I'm at UTC, except when observing summer time. I don't bite, unless you happen to be food, which given you're reading this is quite unlikely. (Nicknames aside.) I'm also visible on Wikipedia's IRC under this nickname at pretty much any hour of the day. I'll reply to messages if I'm actually conscious! :)
