Shimozuma Rairen (下間頼廉?) (1537-1626) was a monk of the Hongan-ji.
Even through the past 7 years of the temples attack from the likes of Oda Nobunaga, Rairen still protected it. Rairen moved to the region of Tenman with the likes of Honganji Kennyo when they finally made a peace treaty with Nobunaga. After that event, Rairen was made the magistrate of the Honganji Temple, by Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
