Talk:Shao Kahn
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
When in MK Deception is Shao Kahn portrayed as 6' 8"? Did they say that in Konquest?
- I don't believe his height is ever mentioned, this scale is simply assumed. Remember to include your username with four tildes (~) in the future. Goroliath
Remember that Raiden's height as stated by the MK1 Comic, and MK:DA is 7'. In MK2 and 3, Kahn is much bigger than Raiden, and his height almost matches Goro, so I'd predict him around 7'6. In the new games though, he looks much smaller and is probably around 7' like Raiden is. I suppose his loss of height can come from his loss of the power he had from the souls he absorbed in MK2 as a canon explanation. Remember, this is just my opinion.

[edit] Trivia
"If time expired with a round ending in an even draw (both players sustaining no damage) in MKII, a disgusted Kahn shouted an expletive."
Can anyone confirm this statement (or possibly clarify it a bit). I just got through playing MK2 and nothing happens when you neither opponent takes a hit and time runs out. It just goes to Game Over screen. Is this for a certain gaming system or just the arcade version? I was playing the SNES MKII. HumanZoom 09:56, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

- I've tested this bit of trivia out with a copy of MK2 as well and Khan doesn't say an expletive. In fact... He doesn't say a thing. I'm nuking the statement until it's proven otherwise. VoLiTioN 03:08, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Colon/semicolon
--You people seriously need to take an english class. That's not how you use a colon. Use a semi-colon.
And only ONE space is need/expected between a period and the next sentence. This is a mess.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.182.109.42 (talk • contribs)
- As for the spaces between periods and sentences, I agree, but it doesn't matter; double spaces in the edit box render as single spaces in the article, so it doesn't matter. EVula 14:28, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- The second instance could use a semicolon, though a colon is also acceptable in that instance (and makes more sense, as the first part seems like a fragment), depending on how the sentence structure is interpreted. The first one is definitely a colon. Virogtheconq 17:46, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
