The Second Lady of the United States is an unofficial title for the wife of the Vice President of the United States. It echoes the likewise unofficial title of the First Lady, the principal hostess of the White House -- usually the wife of the President.[1][2][3][4][5] At the time of writing the current Second Lady is Lynne Cheney since 2001.
