Sacerdos of Lyon

Saint Sacerdos (Sardot or Serdot) of Lyon (487 – September 12, 551) is a French saint whose Feast Day is September 12. He was Archbishop of Lyon, France from 544 to September 12, 551. He was the son of St. Rusticus, Archbishop of Lyon, and wife.
His son St. Aurelianus was an Archbishop of Arles.
His nephew Nicetius of Lyon (Nizier) succeeded him as Archbishop of Lyon. He presided at the Fifth Council of Orléans in 549 and is remembered as an adviser to Childebert I.
